Business Payroll Services
Keep payroll records, employer reporting and accounting connected. MFS coordinates business payroll administration and payroll tax administration for an agreed employee population, with responsibilities and applicable filing requirements established before processing begins.
Payroll administration built around your records
Outsourced payroll starts with a supported record of the employer, employees, compensation and approved changes. We agree the pay calendar, information deadlines and approval contacts so payroll can connect with the business accounting file.
- Coordination of employee details, wage records and approved pay changes
- Payroll calculations and wage statements within the agreed scope
- Payroll tax funding requirements and authorized remittance coordination
- Employer reporting and year-end wage reporting specified in the engagement
- Payroll summaries for reconciliation with accounting records
Wage payments, tax funding and filing responsibilities
MFS is the client-facing advisory and coordination team; CrewPay Inc., a McGregor company, may support processing. Net wage disbursement is separate from payroll tax funding. Before processing, the engagement identifies who pays wages, who supplies cleared tax funds, who authorizes and processes remittances, and who prepares and files the specified employer returns. Filing deadlines, employee locations and any state or cross-border requirements are reviewed before acceptance. In the partner-paid yacht model, the owner or management company pays net wages; CrewPay processes authorized tax remittances after cleared funding.
Connect payroll with accounting and tax
Wages, employer taxes, liabilities and funding should agree with the books. Payroll summaries support reconciliation and help identify differences between what was paid, recorded and reported. If historical records do not agree, discuss a separate correction or cleanup review before ongoing processing.
Specialist payroll for yachts and marine businesses
Vessel employers, captains and management companies can use the existing yacht crew payroll service for a review of crew circumstances, vessel arrangements and the applicable U.S. payroll scope. A foreign flag alone does not determine payroll treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in business payroll services?
The agreed scope may include payroll records, calculations, wage statements, tax funding coordination and specified employer and year-end reporting. The engagement confirms the employee population, jurisdictions, processor and responsibilities before work begins.
Who processes payroll?
MFS coordinates the client relationship and advisory work. CrewPay Inc., a McGregor company, may support processing. Your engagement identifies the parties and their responsibilities; payroll services do not transfer all employer obligations to the provider.
Do you support every state or international payroll arrangement?
Coverage is assessed before an engagement is accepted. Tell us where the employer and employees operate so we can confirm the applicable filing requirements and whether the proposed payroll scope can be supported.
Are yacht crew payroll services available separately?
Yes. The existing yacht crew payroll and marine payroll pages describe specialist arrangements for yacht owners, captains and management companies. Those services have their own scope review and funding requirements.
